Leaks in main water lines are one of the most critical challenges facing today’s water utility operators—with significant consequences for operations, costs, and resource losses. At the same time, locating leaks in large pipes using existing methods is both technically challenging and often associated with high costs.
To meet this challenge, 4S Ledningsnät is now taking an important step forward by funding an innovative project to test and analyze the use of ROV technology. The goal is to develop a more accurate, cost-effective, and future-proof method for identifying and managing leaks in critical infrastructure.
