To meet future demands and comply with the EU’s new Water Framework Directive, Sweden’s water and wastewater organizations need to invest in smarter and more sustainable practices. Digitalization, connected meters, and access to real-time data create new opportunities to reduce water losses and use water resources more efficiently.

At the same time, the end customer’s role is becoming increasingly important. With app-based customer solutions, property owners and users can gain better insight into their water consumption, detect anomalies earlier, and become more involved in efforts toward sustainable water management.

The water and wastewater systems of the future are therefore not just about technology and infrastructure—they are also about involving the end user as an active part of a more sustainable and data-driven water and wastewater system.

Please note that the presentation will be held in Swedish.
