A presentation of a study that will answer the question: How strong are PE welds?
The focus is on a new method that makes it possible to evaluate both electrofusion and butt welds using measured values. The fracture energy values for both types of welds are compared with the pipe’s properties. This method differs from current methods, which are often based on a subjective assessment of the weld.
