When Sweden Water Expo, the new regional water and wastewater exhibition, brings the industry together in Stockholm on 16–17 September 2026, WIN Water will place innovation and digitalisation firmly in the spotlight. Through a shared stand featuring ten innovative companies and participation in two stage sessions, the organisation will demonstrate how new technology can contribute to a more sustainable, secure and digitalised water and wastewater sector.
At the shared stand, WIN Water will present ten member companies and start-ups developing innovative products, services and digital solutions. The stand will serve as a meeting place where visitors can explore practical innovations and discuss needs and solutions directly with entrepreneurs and technology companies.
Confirmed exhibitors in the shared stand include Ozoreon, Aqua Alarm, Waltero, Aqua Robur, Arrowlake, BioImpact, Atium, Sensitive and Hydro Diagnostics.
“Innovation is key to tackling the maintenance backlog, while the Stockholm region is also undertaking its largest urban development programme since the Million Programme. Digitalisation and modern AI solutions can help address the challenges facing the water and wastewater sector, from climate adaptation to resource efficiency. At Sweden Water Expo, we want to showcase the breadth and strength of the innovation taking place across our network,” says Ola Hansson, Manager at WIN Water.
WIN Water will also take part in two programme sessions during the exhibition. The first seminar will focus on security and resilience, issues that have become increasingly important as water and wastewater infrastructure faces new risks and threats. Innovative solutions that can strengthen the sector’s resilience and preparedness will be presented. The second seminar will focus on digitalisation. Through innovation pitches and examples from companies and operators, the session will explore how digital technology, data analysis and smart systems can support more efficient operations, better decision-making and greater sustainability.
“Through our participation, we want to help create new partnerships between network owners and clients, contractors and suppliers. The aim is to accelerate the development of innovative solutions that strengthen Sweden’s water and wastewater sector and contribute to sustainable urban development,” Ola Hansson concludes.
“With Sweden Water Expo, we want to create a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration at a time when major investments will be made in the region’s water and wastewater systems over the coming years. New technology will be essential in addressing these challenges, which is why we are very pleased to welcome WIN Water as our innovation partner. AI and digitalisation are topics that are currently engaging many people across the sector, and we hope the programme will give visitors new ideas that they can put into practice in their own projects,” says Lena Malm, Head of Built Environment at Stockholmsmässan.
WIN was founded in 2012 as part of IDEON Science Park’s innovation programme. WIN provides tools that help innovators turn ideas into commercial ventures more quickly. By bringing together experts, established companies, researchers and public authorities, WIN supports the development of innovative, sustainable and circular solutions to address key challenges and accelerate growth in areas including water, energy and security.
