The fracture energy values for both types of welds are compared with the pipe’s properties. DESCRIPTION:Today\, trenchless techniques are frequently used\, as the advantages of these methods are becoming increasingly relevant. For residents of a community\, for example\, there is a significant difference between the impact a small\, cordoned-off excavation has on daily life and that of a street that has been completely dug up or a neighborhood that has been cordoned off. \nBoth the renewal and new construction of utility networks can be carried out using trenchless technology\, which reduces emissions\, resource consumption\, and disruptions to infrastructure and the community. In addition\, there are also economic benefits. These are significant factors if we are to achieve the planned and necessary pace of renewal for today’s utility networks. \nMikael Hölttä and Roger Linde handle day-to-day issues related to our utility network and will present general information about trenchless technologies. \nPlease note that this presentation will be held in Swedish.
